Melanlody aims to bring you a fun and individualised language learning experience. 

         Melanlody is an innovative education project created in 2017. Based on Multiple Intelligence Theory and our empirical evidence, it combines classical music with English vocabulary according to their emotional valence. We hope that through Melanlody, language learners with music intelligence could find learning and memorising English vocabulary less daunting and more engaging. We adamantly believe that language learning should be fun and individualised.

 

           Our team is led by educational researcher Zhiyuan Dong. She aims to develop a language learning App which caters to students with different intelligence types. At the current stage,  Melanlody serves as a learning tool for students with musical intelligence, but we wish to create other learning tools which are tailored for students with other types of intelligence such as interpersonal or kinesthetic intelligence.
